This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, United States.
The hiring difficulty scanner's calculations run on a server located in France (Paris region); the host's delivery network may serve the site's pages from other countries.
Accessing and using this site implies full acceptance of these terms. Dryve's content (the market reference, the texts and their presentation) belongs to the publisher and may not be reproduced without prior permission.
The tools published on this site (simulators, scanners, calculators) provide indicative estimates only. They constitute neither legal advice, nor tax advice, nor any contractual commitment.
The publisher makes every effort to keep the information accurate but cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, or temporary unavailability of the service.
Use of the site's tools and data. The site's interactive tools (hiring difficulty scanner, simulators, planners, diagnostics) are intended for normal individual and professional use, by a human visitor, to assess a situation that concerns them.
The following are prohibited without the publisher's prior written authorisation:
The publisher is the producer of the databases built up by these tools within the meaning of Articles L341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code (rights of database producers). The publisher reserves the right to block any automated access and to take any appropriate action in the event of a breach.
Results provided to a visitor for their own use may be briefly quoted, citing the source (see the short-quotation clause below).
The articles, analyses, reference material and position pieces published on this site are written by Emmanuel Dedryver and remain his exclusive property. They are protected by copyright: any reproduction, distribution, translation or adaptation, in whole or in part, requires his prior written permission. Short quotations remain free to use, provided the author is credited and the original page is linked.
The views expressed in this content are the author's alone. They do not represent the position of the companies mentioned, nor of any client, partner, or past or present employer. The cases and examples discussed serve the analysis: they are neither a recommendation nor a judgement passed on any named organisation.
These publications are intended to inform and to prompt reflection. They reflect the author's observations as they stood on the date of publication, in a field — recruitment, ways of working, AI — that moves quickly. They constitute neither legal advice, nor HR or strategy advice that can be applied as-is to any particular situation.
The trademarks, logos and company names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are cited for illustrative purposes only.

In short: this site sets no tracking, audience-measurement or advertising cookies, loads no third-party scripts, fonts or content when pages open, and asks you for no data in order to be browsed. The processing described below is the only processing this site carries out.
Technical logs of the host
Purpose: to provide the site, ensure its security and proper operation, and prevent abuse.
Data: IP address, requested address (full URL), date and time, browser, country.
Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest (security and operation of the service).
Recipient: Vercel Inc. (United States), host and processor.
Retention: as set by the host's retention policy; the publisher keeps no copy.
Tools that run in your browser
The freelance simulator, the RPO capacity planner and the alignment diagnostic run entirely in your browser: what you enter is not sent to our servers. Only the playbook request, described below, opens your mail app.
Hiring difficulty scanner
To produce the calculation, the scanner sends to our server what you enter: role, seniority, location, company type, proposed gross annual package and, where applicable, the funnel rates you change. This information describes a position, not a person: we ask you for no name, no email address and no identifying data. It is not stored.
Purpose: to calculate and display the diagnosis you asked for; to protect the tool against abusive use.
Legal basis: performance of the service you request; the publisher's legitimate interest (security, preventing automated extraction).
Technical log: date and time, response code, calculation time, role key (for example “backend”), result of the bot detection and, where applicable, an irreversible fingerprint of the IP address (computed with a secret and the current date, and therefore different every day). Neither what you entered, nor the salary, nor the IP address in clear appears in it.
Bot detection: a technical test, run by your browser and served from our own domain, accompanies calls to the scanner. It is checked by Vercel (BotID service) to tell a visitor from an automated program.
Processor and retention: Vercel Inc. (running the function, infrastructure logs, bot detection). The execution log is kept by the host under its own policy; the publisher keeps no copy.
Contact
You can write to us at the email address published on the Contact page or through our LinkedIn profile. Your message is received on the publisher's mailbox (Gmail, Google) and is used only to reply to you.
Legal basis: legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps taken at your request. Retention: 3 years after the last exchange.
The LinkedIn link is an outbound link: LinkedIn applies its own privacy policy as soon as you follow it.
Playbook or scorecard request
In the freelance simulator, the alignment diagnostic and the role pages you can enter your email address to receive the playbook or the role's scorecard. The site sends it nowhere: it opens your mail app on a message ready to be sent to the publisher; you are the one who sends it.
Purpose: to send you the document you asked for (playbook or scorecard). Data: your email address and the pre-filled text of the message (for a scorecard, the name of the role).
Receipt: the publisher's mailbox, hosted by Google (Gmail): Google is a service provider of the publisher.
Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual step) and your consent to receive the document. Retention: 12 months after the last exchange, unless a commercial relationship has begun.
Any later marketing approach would require your separate consent.
YouTube videos
Videos are not loaded when pages open: until you click the thumbnail, no request is sent to YouTube. On click, the YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com domain, enhanced-privacy mode, operated by Google) is loaded: your IP address is then sent to Google, which may place or read data on your device under its own policy.
Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking the thumbnail.
Local storage in your browser
The site remembers, in your browser's local storage, your language choice (keys “dryve-lang” and “dryve-lang-hint” in localStorage; “dryve-lang-hops” in sessionStorage) and the fact that you closed the language suggestion. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted and is used only to spare you from choosing the language again. You can erase it at any time from your browser settings.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking, audience-measurement or advertising cookies. Security mechanisms (the host's, and the scanner's bot detection) may set a technical cookie strictly necessary to verify a browser; it is used for no other purpose.
Processors and transfers outside the European Union
Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting, running functions, logs, bot detection. The transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which the host applies in its data processing agreement.
Google LLC (United States): the publisher's Gmail mailbox; the YouTube player, on click only. The transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU–US data protection framework).
Other services
The interview.dryvepartners.fr application, which has restricted access, is a separate service that is not covered by this policy.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding the data that concerns you, which you can exercise by email at emmanuel.dedryver@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr).
What you enter in the tools that run in your browser stays on your device: the publisher cannot retrieve it.
