Turns a failure into proof of professional maturity — ideal for promotion interviews. 3 to 4 min · A question about a failure Short format CAR Challenge, Action, Result. A compressed version of STAR for phone screens and a LinkedIn pitch. 60 to 90 s · Phone screen Crisis management PAR Problem, Action, Result. Positions the candidate as a fixer — ideal for crises and remediation. 2 to 3 min · Crisis, CISO interview Resilience SOAR Situation, Obstacle, Action, Result. Explicitly names the blocker encountered, to showcase resilience and leadership. 2 to 3 min · Leadership interview
